This is a three part installation [tapestry-drawing-sound} consisted of two diptychs [tapestry + drawing] and an aleatory sound composition with clarinet and strings which transcripts a specific part of the two diptychs into music.
In this artwork I'm exploring the microcosm of structures and grids and the systems created by their relationships. These are sign systems woven, drawn and then transformed into sound or vice versa. The transcription into music is accomplished by re-drawing on the score {in the most part of the composition } lines that consist the tapestries and the drawings. In the biggest part of the composition I leave the sound which derives from the line drawing as it is but in some part I do re-compose in favour of the music.
This artwork installation was first time exhibited in Benaki Museum exhibition YFANSEIS , 2019-2020
